How does this apply to preaching?
Though I can see, very clearly, how this applies to the unimaginable gift of the Son.
That has to be what we go for in preaching. Hold out Christ to the human heart!
Don't give them what they want...give them what they need. (the law, and the gospel)
Most of the time you will not be thanked for it.
