It's what's on the outside that counts

whats on outside counts

Don't believe Satan's lie.  It's not what's on the inside that counts.  At the end of the Day what really matters is what's on the outside.

Take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the door-frames... when I see the blood, I will pass over you.  (Ex 12:7,12)

Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed (1 Corinthians 5:7)

Your salvation lies entirely outside yourself.

Like a breath of fresh air, brother. Thank you.

The puritans used to point out that when scum rose to the top of boiled water, it was not being created in the fire. The impurities are always there, hidden. The Lord sends trials to reveal the stuff hidden inside us, and it's our job to be humbled and convicted by what comes out of us at our worst.

    Our worst is really us.

It's what's on the outside that counts.

Great illustration Code - wish I'd heard it last week. I was preaching on Deuteronomy 8 - the LORD leads them through the wilderness to test them, to know what was in their hearts. Scum mainly!
